Start Flying

Try out the Introductory Flight first:

• 1 Hour Ground Instruction – to learn the fundamentals of flight.
• 1 Hour Flight – the actual first lesson of the Private Pilot Course - you will take the controls and experience first hand flying a plane!

Rates and Hours

The FAA-imposed minimum flight requirement is 40 hours, however due to the Bay Area's high traffic and more complicated areas, 65 hours is the average amount of time needed. My rates are very reasonable ($45/hour) or $2925 total for instructor cost.
